Nacelle Report

September 2023

Hi Folks,

Saturday 1st July, John led 12 of us on a breakfast run to Ripleys Garden Centre.

The following Saturday it was our Rother day starting with a ride to The Plough, Lower Beeding where Kelly and her team cooked the 17 of us an excellent breakfast, and from there we head down to Amberley Museum. There was a big bolt of lightning just before we got there but thankfully we got into the car park as the heavens opened. Very interesting museum well worth a visit. Finishing the day off with a meet up at The Robin Hood enjoying a lovely buffet and some fine ales. Thank you Mick & Karen for doing the raffle which raised a good bit for our charity SERV The Blood Runners of Sussex.

Wednesday 12th the club night run to The Swan, Little Chard near Ashford was very well attended with 16 of us following John up front.

On the Sunday 14 of us were on the breakfast run to Jo's Cafe Brookland, then in the afternoon several of us had a lovely time at Dave & Jan's helping him celebrate his 70th, it  was a great afternoon, thank you both.

Over 20 of us attended the BBQ and Quiz night down the angling club on Friday 21st, thank you Rod for arranging.

The next day we had 14 on the breakfast run to Nikki D's cafe near Lydd Airport.

Jeff suggested a breakfast run to Seaford followed by a visit to Robertsbridge Aviation Museum which we did on Sunday 30th. Another good turnout with 17 on the run. Not a very big museum but it was packed with lots of exhibits.

Wednesday 30th August club night run to The White Hart, Newenden leaving Texaco garage 7pm.
