Nacelle Report

May 2023

Hi Folks,

Bit of a catch up.

Wednesday 15th February we had our first quarterly meeting of the year which was very well attended, lots discussed and plenty of things planned for this year. We had a brief talk from Hartley one member of SERV Sussex Blood Runners our chosen charity who gave us an insight the fabulous service they provide.

Saturday 18th a coach load of us enjoyed a day out at the London Motorcycle Show at The Excel. Thanks Rod for organising the trip.

Sunday 5th March we had our annual film afternoon at The Electric Palace Cinema in Hastings Old Town. There certainly was a lot of laughter, which I think you would agree was needed. Big thank you to Mandy, Jax and Sue for providing an excellent Buffett which went down very well.

Tuesday 12th we said farewell to our good friend Chris, Ros was very grateful and overwhelmed by the support of our club with nearly 40 bikes following Chris on his last journey, we certainly gave him a good send off.

Breakfast runs during March included Heavens Farm, Furner's Green, Jo's Cafe Brookland and Orchard Tea Rooms Hartfield, all well attended.

Wednesday 26th April Herbie run followed by fish'n'chips at The Robin Hood, leaving Texaco garage 7pm

Sunday 7th May Chris Cole memorial ride out to Billericay, Battlesbridge motorcycle museum, Burnham on Crouch ending in Southend. Please let John or myself know if you would like to come along. Leaving Texaco garage 8am.

Wednesday 10th May British Bike Night at The Robin Hood 6;30pm.
