Well as you can imagine not a lot is happening on the Club front in these unprecedented times. Although we did have some good news earlier in March, Wednesday 4th us Rotherites were for the 4th year in a row triumphant in beating the Harley Boys and Girls at bowling, winning by 374 its. Ed was again our top scorer with 291, Alan 245 and Jim n234. Well done all those that took part and thank to those that came to support us.
Saturday 7th, 8 of us had an eventful breakfast run to Happy Days on the A22, after a lovely ride over Beachy Head (not literary i hasten to add) the road was closed for Alfriston so we came back down the Cuckmere Valley and turned for Littlington where we encountered several floods to go through. Howard likes off road-in so gallantly took the lead and like sheep we followed, thankfully we all made it through. Chris remarked it was one way of washing the salt off your bike.People didn't realise the lengths we go for a breakfast.
Sunday 5th we had 7 for the breakfast run to the Oasis Cafe Old Romney as it was Howards birthday. We did a bit of green lane-in on the way , which Richard was not too impressed having to navigate some very tight bends on his Rocket 3. All good fun.
Please stay safe and keep well. Lets hope its not too long before we are out together on our bikes. As always keep an eye on our Facebook and webpage for updates.
