Hi Folks,
By the time you read this most of the branch will be aware that our chairman for the past 6 and half years Alan has stepped down. Alan has a lot going on at the moment and felt he could not give the time he would like to club but will still be about. I would like to on behalf of the branch thank him for the sterling work he has done for us over the years. It's been very much appreciated.
During May we managed 5 breakfast runs including two on the same weekend with John doing a classic bike ride out to Nikki D's Lydd on the Saturday and me doing the run the Brogdale near Faversham on the Sunday.
We had 3 evening ride outs including visiting West Sussex branch and receiving the usual welcome from Kelly at The plough.
Wednesday 15th we had the first of two British Bike Nights at The Robin Hood, good turn out raising £95 towards our charity. Thank you Debbie, Mandy and Ros for getting your jugs outing doing the teas and coffees.
Colin & Eileen, Gary & Jax, Dennis and Ray represented Rother at Shelsley Walsh, they Brough back nothing but positive reports about the whole event.
Wednesday 26th June Long Way Round out to The Robin Hood leaving Texaco garage 7pm.
Wednesday 3rd July ride out to The Eight Bells Jevington leaving Texaco garage 7pm.
Saturday 6th July memorial ride out for past members, Time TBC
Saturday 20th July 75 mile ride out returning to The Robin Hood in the evening, Times TBC
