Sunday 9th May we had two groups led by Alan and myself to The Teapot Island Yalding for breakfast, Alan got there just before me and a rather large group of Harley owners resulting in a very long wait for our breakfast, luckily we weren't in a rush and it gave a chance to have a good chin wag.
Wednesday 12th May we had a good turn out (16) for the evening ride out over to Lydd to pay our respects to past member Herbie. Then we went back to The Robin Hood via some country lanes due to the A259 road closure at Rye. Waiting for us were a few other members to join us for fish 'n' chips on the lovely new decking area.
Sunday 30th May Alan led the ride over to Lily's cafe next to World of Water Rovenden for breakfast, another good turn out on a sunny day.
On the same day I led Gary, Charlie and Chris on a breakfast run from Shap in Cumbria over to the Platform One Cafe in Bedale North Yorkshire to set us up for our long journey home after completing the north coast 500 the previous few days. It was great fun and very enjoyable 1900 miles in 9 days, well recommended.
