Nacelle Report

January 2024

Hi Folks,

Chris and myself set ourselves a target to do 50 ride outs during 2023, that target was reached on Sunday 5th November with a breakfast run to Tulley's Farm, Turner Hill. Thank you Colin, John and Jeff for helping us reach that with leading some of the ride outs.

The following Sunday Colin made the total 51 with a breakfast run to The Solo Cafe, Canterbury. Overall we averaged 13 on the ride outs.

Wednesday 15th we had our AGM starting off with Hartley from SERV Sussex Blood Runners giving us a brief insight about the great work they do before being presented with a cheque for £1000 from our Chairman Alan on behalf of Rother Branch. Ros presented Colin K with the Chris Cole Memorial Cup for attending the most ride outs with 35 out of 51. Colin K then presented our secretary Richie with a cheque for £100 for winning the Road Name Challenge, our social events organiser Rod was given a bottle of his favourite tipple in appreciation for keeping us all social. All in all a very positive AGM.

The following Wednesday at The Robin Hood many of us enjoyed our treasurer Mick celebrate not only his birthday but his retirement too. Mick said he is looking forward to joining you retired lot on any mid week ride outs.

As always check our Rother website and Facebook page for updates on events etc.
