Nacelle Report

January 2022

Hi Folks,

Sunday 7th November, we had one of our biggest turnouts for a breakfast run, 22 for the run to Heavens Farm on the A275.

Saturday 13th Chris led 18 of us to The Teapot Island, Yalding.

Wednesday 17th another big turnout this time for our branch AGM, with over 30 of us in attendance. It was our first one in two year-end it was a very positive one. The committee has remained the same. Chairman Alan made sure the meeting run swiftly all done and dusted within the hour. Treasurer Chris reported our bank balance is healthy, Secretary Richie said our membership is the bests its been, with a very good renewal rate. Andy reported that our website has had plenty of visits during this year, I just waffled on about what we achieved during last yearend this year. Chris also reported that we managed over 30 ride outs during 2020 and 2021. Derek was presented with a cheque for attending the most runs during 2021. Rod was pleased to receive a bottle Whisky in appreciation for doing a great job as our social events organiser.

Saturday 20th we had 13 of us on the breakfast run to The Solo Cafe in Caterbury.

Sunday 28th was a tad chilly but 8 of us had a lovely ride in the sunshine to the Oasis Cafe Old Romney.

Wednesday 29th December Rother Xmas pub crawl round Hastings Old Town, 2pm Dolphin Inn Rock a Nore.

Saturday 5th February Charity Quiz night The Robin Hood.

Saturday 12th February Coach trip to the Excel Motorcycle Show. Contact Rod to book your seat.
