Nacelle Report

March 2022

Hi Folks,

Our first ride out of 2022 was a mid-week one Wednesday 5th January, a breakfast run to Orchard Tea Rooms Hartfield, there was 8 of us.

The following Sunday we had 14 on the run to The Lord Whiskey Tea Rooms Lyminge. It was a bit eventful with Rod parting company with his bike on some black ice near Port Lymph, thankfully he was ok which was the main thing. Charlie kindly returned home to pick up his van and came back to recover his bike.In the meantime Rod rode pillion with me to the tea rooms so he still got his breakfast.

Sunday 16th there was 8 of us on the run through the fog to Northiam down to Rye. The sun came out around Lydd and Camber then back in the fog down to The Angling Club in Hastings in The Old Town.

On Saturday 22nd Chris led 5 on the run to The Butchers Hook Hartfield.

Two days later there was 23 of us enjoying the meal deal on offer at The Star Normans Bay. Thanks Rod for arranging it.

The last ride out of the month was on Saturday 29th, Chris led 9 on the run to The Custom Cafe on the A259 Bexhill on Sea.

Good to see Wednesday nights The Robin Hood are well attended considering the time of year.
